The 25km & 43km events will usually be run concurrently each month; the 12.5km sprint option will be accommodated if riders can make their own starting arrangements at Peats Ridge.

Delay of a start may occur due to fog or the events cancelled or postponed due to bushfires but the latter has only occurred once - in January 2005. Otherwise events are run "rain, hail or shine"!

Apart from this website monthly results may also be published in local and national media.

Subject to sponsorship ATTA-NSW will advise riders in advance each month of any prizes available at the next event. (possibly for an outright time and/or most improved PB). Prize monies have been modified for 2008:

$100 for a new men's/women's record on the 43km or 25km course
$75 for a new men's/women's record on the 12.5km course
$75 for a new team's record on the 43km course
$50 for a new team's record on the 25km course
$50 if a rider improves their own record on the same course
$30 if a team improves their own record on the same course

Course Intructions:

Riders start in number order, which correlates with your start time, at one minute intervals from 8.00am eg #59 starts at 08.59.
All riders must adhere to road rules and not ride the wrong direction in warm-up or warm-down. A concrete crossing is signposted at the 500m mark after the finish line otherwise riders can continue south to the next intersection and return via the cloverleaf road – a 5km return. Riders returning must continue past the start area 300m north and turn at the end of the center dividing island.
Avoid the intersection of Jones Road and Peats Ridge Road at all times. The surface alone indicates how heavy (footed) the traffic is.
The 12.5km Sprint course starts at Peats Ridge to finish at Calga. Riders may use the ride to Peats Ridge to warm-up prior, but allow sufficient time to make your start.
The 25km and 43km both start and finish at Calga. The turn for 25km course is a large cone at the 12.5km Start point.
At Peats Ridge the carriageway widens to double lanes approaching the service station and shops. Riders should travel close to the center line indicating their intention to turn, when the road widens, to allow traffic from behind to pass on your left. This is the police and council approved turn arrangement.
The 43km course is well signposted at every by-pass. Just follow the arrows.
