ATTA returns—Season 2025 begins and with it, the first live testing of Chris Roberts' updated ATTA.app and companion webapp providing event progress results in the context of the definitive results database. The updated version should be available in the app stores very soon; the webapp is functional now.

Riders signing-on; warming up in Chidlow … Webscorer is dutifully counting down starters. Sophia Sammons is an early starter and will probably post a quickish time fairly soon; Darren Wright should have left Chidlow a few minutes earlier. The predicted Easterly is blowing, according to the BOM report and it's still a bit chilly—13°. We're now down to the last few starters, no finishers showing on the feed yet.
Yes, Sophia now has a finish time: 41:57—looks like a course record! And, yes Darren Wright has now checked in with a 47:58. And young Jacob Nicholls, one of two junior riders today has a 46:26. But Ryan Death, the other junior rider, has just come in 2:20 quicker. Lee Bolden now sits on top of the list with a time of 40:30; Sophia's time looks likely to be unchallenged. She's about 6min clear of Wanda Jansen vanV who was very close to her own PB time with Kirsty Turner, a few minutes further back. It's worth noting that the previous women's course record was established by Emma Pooley who had claimed the UCI World ITT Championship only five months earlier.

The top of the list is changing a bit with Nick Thompson leading and Jarred Anderson 12sec. behind with a PB of about 15sec; Jeremy Smith also has returned a PB.
Matt Burton, last man to start has jumped to the top of the rankings (but a bit short of his previous best—there don't look like being a lot of PBs this morning). I'd hazard a guess to say that Chris Glasby has the best of the Standard times but Steve Knight won't be far off it—it'll be another close tussle for bragging rights. In fact it is Matt Burton with the best Standard time, Chris Glasby next and then Steve Knight

There are now only four riders unaccounted for. Intermediate times are yet to be added and the Webscorer results, as posted, confirmed.
The ambient temperature has climbed to about 17° but the Easterly is still blowing.

A new timekeeper, Justin Nicholls got hands-on experience, Chris' apps got their live testing. Murphy tried to get through the door a few times but was repelled; there were only two riders DNS, one new course record established and a nice fistful of PBs. So, all was good? And I'm told by a reliable source that riding on the resurfaced Lovekin Dve in Kings Park is a beautiful experience.
