Race Report

It's strange how this course always seems to provoke at least one desperate sprint for the line. Today it was between George Miller and Greg Perry with Greg just failing to hold out the fast finishing George.

Nigel's speeds are creeping back up as he gets his new machine sorted out.

Thanks to Peter Fallon who brought a cake to celebrate his recent Big Number birthday (50); thanks also Tink who supplied some very tasty muffins :-)

We had another good crew this week to ensure that no-one disappeared off course ( it helps that we only had four corners (rather than last week's 12): Jenny Holt, Ken Dupuy, Roger Holt and Tink (timing at Breeze Rd) and Barry Murphy (unfortunately still on the injured list). In fact there weren't any disasters to report this week so no-one was making any excuses except for Mark Williamson who was counting the seconds he could have saved on which corners. But he confessed that he was really pretty pleased with a ride that got him to within 3 seconds of Scotty - and well he might!
