Race Report We had the usual fine raft of helping folks today: Stephen and Steve Fitz to start and time you; Rudy, Peter Richards, Brian Carr and Phil Gyford to see you around the corners; and there were several others like Rod and John Neville to help things along too. Thanks fellas. Lorraine has given herself five seconds worth of kicking (…so close to Tanyana's old record!) but quite a few others must be feeling quite pleased with themselves for the day's efforts. There were some good times on a good day (on a good course). Which is all pretty fine as we are only 2 weeks out to "The 40". Similarly, Nigel continues to strip heaps off his old times (15min today) as he and the other Hand-Wheelies Peter and Karl head towards their Nationals in pretty good form. I finally bit the bullet and worked out a factor to allow me to allocate points to these guys and to Mark, based on relative speeds on the Kings Park course. I'll continue to refine it but at least it's a start - and somewhat overdue. It doesn't look too bad on today's speeds. mouse |
