Well done, Logan—he wanted the Panther and a 33sec PB allowed him to sneak in under Craig Cooke's guard by just under half of that: 15sec! Rob Hurst was the first man to sign-on—obviously raring to go and probably deserving a share of the Panther for his MTB effort around the four laps. Similarly, Andrea Coleman was the first girl to sign on and the fastest of the women to finish while Emma Smith pushed Lily Grevett to a PB around two laps of the course. And the rain held off although conditions weren't ideal for really fast times; Craig's 30km/h course record was safe today.

Today Carolyn Equid took over the principal timekeeper role, having helped David to sign the course (assisted by Campbell Coulthard); Troy had, meanwhile, set up the start finish/area and while I bumbled around, the registrations table was organised, people signed-on and Lorraine took over the start procedure. Bill Darby, injured and unable to ride his favourite TT, called numbers for us and everything continued smoothly for another hour and a half. The Panther was delivered into Logan's care for the next twelve months and that was that! Thank you, everyone.
