It was a fine sunny May morning that presented itself to a total of 76 riders for our May ATTA event. Most riders opted for the short course with only 7 riders completing the long course. I think 69 riders knew something those guys didn't because no one came back saying how good the reverse leg coming home was.

Our Octogenarian e-biker (AKA Tony McClelland) still managed to blitz the course at Fabian Cancellara pace.

After the initial rush of signing on and handing out numbers, getting timing synched and the first riders away there is this really sweat spot of about 10-15 minutes where I can chill and get ready for the early finishers. Despite the return headwind Peleton Sports early starting new comer Benedikt Schneider almost caught me unaware by finishing with a time of 34:51 on the short course. No one else bested that time and Peleton Sports made it a hat trick with Clinton Leong in second and Jake Potgeiter in third. Harlequins Matt Rozyn made the best of the long course from Greg Burgett (LACC) and Adam Wood (Harlequin).

ATTA-NSW also had the pleasure today to run Southern Cross Cycling Club's team time trial championships. Leigh Brown was the best of the men and Dayna Davidson was the fastest female. Special mention goes to Thomas Ludlam for the most improved time and to Matthew Nourse for missing the podium by 0.1 of a second. Sleep well tonight Matthew.

Next month I am celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary in Italy (ooh the Giro's on—what are the chances!) Paul will be stepping in as race director for June with Brittaney, Tyler and Brownie making him look good.
See you all when I get back.
Brad
