Not quite summer yet, but you can feel it in the air!
Thanks to all participants who turned up for the first BCC Summer TT at Wonnerup.
The course threw up the usual challenges, i.e, long sections into heavy head winds, and then some tail wind sections where it doesn't get easier, but you just go faster!

Some excellent performances all round with plenty of fast looking kit out there. Thanks to those who travelled over for the event, none more so then Mal Nash, over from Tamworth for Ironman spectating, who produced a solid ride.

Fastest time honors go to Connor Lambert, who showed his class in spite of the heavy base training load he is undertaking, in a close tussle with Tony Doherty Jnr followed by Al Paterson. Fastest of the non-TT bike crew was Lee Scurlock.

In the more mature, gentlemanly category, it was a close tussle between Steve Marks and Tony Doherty Snr, with Steve taking the honors.
Great effort Jane Spurgeon, as the solo lady to represent. Hope to see a few of you ladies at our next event. Great to see evergreen club TT legend, Wayne Flynn, making a top 10 performance.
Also, great to see Junior Mark Schaap taking on the short course and putting in a big finish to hold off Lee Scurlock on the line.

Thanks to Jamie Coutts, Ryan Scarth & the Prez for their volunteering, and to Wayne Schaap for his behind the scenes work.

Next round at Acton Park Hall, Wednesday 13th December, 15km ITT,
