Good conditions for the riders last night with light winds but high humidity. Some slick times in those conditions. 20 riders facing the starter with good numbers from Bunbury.
Lee Scurlock closing the time gap since other events on his pointy end rivals, but Tony Doherty held up his end of the bargain to take fastest time as the backmarker. Tony, and another Bunno youngster Conor Lambert, who have both supported the series, jet off on Sunday to Belgium for pro- cycling adventures for the next few months. Good Luck Lads and thanks for supporting the BCC.

Well done to John Madigan on a awesome first ride in the series. John cleaned up the five riders in front to be first across the line and 7th overall in 25:15, Well Done to Carol May for being the sole lady to represent and also a strong ride to the only junior, Courtland Wood, with a solid 25:25 for the 18km and 8th place, putting many of the seniors in the shade.

Thanks to all involved in riding, volunteering or encouraging through out the series. We had around 35 individual riders and our biggest field was 23 in Round 1. Thanks to WISE wines for prize sponsorship in round 3 & 5.
