The Road-bike record was set and broken by several other riders during the course of the series: Scott McDowell and Lauren Humphries in EB1; Marion Mundt and Lee Bolden, EB2.
The previous course records, 45.29km/h (Luke Durbridge); 38.15km/h (Els Visser), set prior to recognising road bikes as a separate category this series, remained intact; similarly, the Junior course records, held by Michael Storer and Mackenzie Coupland, remained safe.

  • Richard Williams and Neil McDougall were series qualifiers on their hand-cycles
  • Dempsey and Harvey Patterson were the only series-qualifying juniors
  • Approximately half the rides in the series were by riders specifying 'road-bike' as their category (179 of 361)
  • Of the 361 rides in the series, 109 were by female riders (30%)
  • Only 13 of the blokes riding started in five or more events to qualify for the series.
