Informal discussion (non-AGM business)
Most people who had previously said they would attend the meeting managed to find the venue and we achieved the necessary quorum. The meeting was chaired by Alison Ramm and Dave Equid took notes.
The BAR trophy was presented to Steff van Amerongen to share with Sean Mahony; Steff also took charge of the Hilly trophy for another year—well earned! Alex Mahony recorded this and posted the images to FaceBook. Those who had earned Hilly shirts received them; BAR medals are on their way.
Little was added to the reports already posted. A mention of life-support measures was heard when the topic of succession planning was raised (again).
Under pressure, mouse was reappointed as President and returned or added to the committee were: Sue Challen; Troy Coulthard; David Equid; John Healy; Neil McRae; Frank Norton; Alison Ramm; Lorraine Schutz and Greg Swensen.
Craig Beeching, Alex and Sean Mahony will also assist.
We hope that should be sufficient to get done what needs to be done to continue to provide a program of TTs to bike riders needing to indulge their passion; habit; whatever. Post-AGM forum discussion centered mainly on how to or who would fill Jeff Usher's shoes.
The date of the next AGM was set, tentatively, for July 29, 2017.
